What a pleasure to meet you! My name is Jonathan Sim, and I am a philosopher.
I research and teach at the National University of Singapore.
At the moment, I am teaching a course, GET1050 Computational Reasoning, a new and exciting module that teaches undergraduate students, from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, how to employ computational methods to solve problems, and philosophically reflect on the social and ethical issues that arise in the creation of models and implementation of algorithms.
This website is a place for me to share my research and teaching resources, and other useful materials for your learning and growth.
If you’d like to know more about my background, you can find more information here.
